Results  from  Recent  Engagements

Worked with a 911 center to get a campus environment map and all buildings labeled along with unique identification on 911 calls

SJS did the project management of the installation of new hardware and networks.  We created a new chart of accounts for information technology and had electronic billing feeds and designed the interface to the financial systems.  The project included over 26 locations, 50 sales people and costs of $5 million.  The project was completed on time and within budget with a savings over the old costs of 30%.  The intangible results were the answering of questions for all locations and the financial systems balanced every month.

Recommendations for a new carrier to a  manufacturing client saved over $1.5 million and provided additional capacities, a 900% gain over its previous expectations.

A major health care provider contracted with SJS to design, manage and implement over 10,000 phones at their new location in Pennsylvania.  SJS also did the same for voice and data in their five Puerto Rico locations.

A major worldwide software supplier saved $1M when using a SJS strategy to link 5 European locations.

A major government telecommunications provider in Europe engaged SJS to create a Requirements Analysis for its long-range telecommunications strategy.

We helped in the contract negotiations and added some clauses that proved to save the company an additional $1.4 million because of late delivery of services.

A major credit company grew from acquisition and was not sure if all the telecommunication lines were being used.  We did an audit of over 100 locations across the USA and found they were paying for lines in locations they no longer used.  We also consolidated the lines with as few carriers as possible.  The other issue was they had a large call center outside the USA and placed the data center in the USA but not close to the gateway to the off shore location.  Between the canceling of lines and the relocation of the data center they saved over $500,000 per year.

We have negotiated new contracts and reduced the costs by 10 to 20% without changing any service or disruption to the business. 

Some vendors have actually used SJS to manage projects for them because of the detailed work and we make sure the client gets the correct terms and conditions.
